| life*objective::Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand. What is desired in a man is steadfast love, and a poor man is better than a liar. _prov19,21.22
All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the LORD weighs the spirit. Commit your work to the LORD, and your plans will be established. The LORD has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble. … There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death. _prov16,2_4.25
Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. _mt6,34
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. _phil4,4_7
Biblical life objective:: to know, love, and glorify God and, in obedience, be used of Him to raise up qualified laborers in significant numbers as fast as possible to help fulfill the Great Commission
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. //Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the LORD, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the LORD, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile. jerm29,11_14
there are no shortcuts to getting to know God. set your heart to know Him. what ever you value the most in your life will be made evident through your time, money, energy, conversation, etc.--these testify to what you treasure. truly your actions will speak out your beliefs more accurately than your tongue.
josh sherrill:: "a man after God's heart is one who wants to want what God wants."
specifically, the details are not clear, and so tomorrow can worry about itself. live today in obedience to God and He will provide all the grace needed for today, today. life is not the pursuit of happiness, but rather it is the pursuit of God's will (for His glory; our joy; *study Jesus for more insight since He is God). as you live each day for God's glory (that is seeking after His will as laid out in scripture), each day will become a week, month, year, decade. as you live for God today, eventually you can look back and see the plan God has given you to.
The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. "The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "therefore I will hope in him."
The LORD is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD. It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.
Let him sit alone in silence when it is laid on him; let him put his mouth in the dust— there may yet be hope; let him give his cheek to the one who strikes, and let him be filled with insults.
For the Lord will not cast off forever, but, though he cause grief, he will have compassion according to the abundance of his steadfast love; for he does not willingly afflict or grieve the children of men. _lamentations3,22_33 | | |
| what*ifwhat if:: in our doubts, truth is sought. but what if the truth we find we do not accept as truth. is that truth then false because we said so?
what if:: truth came and walked among us, showing us what truth is and where we stand in regards to truth? &what if we don't like what that truth means? what then? is truth nullified?
what if:: life is more than eating and drinking and whatever else our hands find to do? what if our inherent wisdom is mere foolishness in regards to truth?

| born to//reproduce_How is the time you spend with the Lord? Do you feel that your devotional life is what the Lord would have it to be? If not, why is your devotional life not what it should be? Did you have victory in your devotional life in college? Are you lacking communion with Christ?
_How many persons do you know by name today who were won to Christ by you and are living for Him? Not how many go to church. Are they living for Christ now?
_Are you producing? If not, why not? Is it because of a lack of communion with Christ your Lord, that closeness of fellowship which is part of the great plan? Or is it some sin in your life, an unconfessed something that has stopped the flow? Or is it because you still a child? "For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food" Hebrews 5:12.
_What will it take to jar us out of our complacency and send us home to pray, "God give me someone I can bring to Christ, or let me take one who is already in Christ, an infant in Christ, and try to train that one so that he or she will reproduce!"
_Where is your man? Where is your woman? Do you have one? You can ask God for one. Ask the Lord, "Am I spiritually sterile? If I am, why am I?"

"There's
a popular bumper sticker that reads "God Bless America," but hasn’t
America already been blessed? It's easy for us to fall into a mindset
of viewing "our" world as "the" world, because it's all we generally
see. We're constantly bombarded with images of the latest styles and
models of everything, and it can easily leave us feeling like what we
have isn’t enough because we see people that have even more than us.
But how does what we
have compare to what most people in the world have? Maybe what we have
is enough; maybe it’s more than enough. Maybe God has blessed us with
everything we have so we can bless and give to others." {rob*bell}
And Jesus said to his disciples,
"Truly, I say to you, only with difficulty will a rich person enter the
kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go
through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom
of God."
